פְּסוּלm. (preced.) blemish, disqualification. Yoma I, 1 שמא יארע בו פ׳ because something might happen that would disqualify him for the service of the day. Pes.56a שמא … יש במיטתי פ׳ is there perhaps, which God forbid, a blemish in my couch (an unworthy person among my descendants)?
